Tips for using 2.5" (2-1/2 in) Vac Hose:

• For best results, use enough length to reach from your machine into the room you are cleaning with an 8' whip of 2" hose at the end. 
• Also, using a Cleaning Wand with a 2" down-tube will greatly enhance results, drying times and cleaning speed, as a standard 1.5" wand will put too much restriction on the air-flow, negating the potential benefits of using 2.5" (2-1/2 in) vacuum hose. 

2.5" (2-1/2") Vac Hose Connections:

• To connect to a machine that has 2.5" (2-1/2") outlets: Simply connect directly to the Recovery Tanks 2.5" (2-1/2") outlet and add an inline filter of your choice.
• To connect to a machine that has 2 x 2" outlets: Run 2 short lengths (about 10' each) of standard 2" truck-mount hose out from the vacuum tank to the ground outside the vehicle. Then connect each one to an inline filter of your choice (or one of the Stainless Steel Basket Filters available). Then run another short length (2' each) of 2" vacuum hose out the other side of the filter until connecting both 2" hose ends to a 2"x2"x2.5" Stainless Steel Y. Then connect you 2.5" (2-1/2") hose to the 2.5" (2-1/2") end.

• Non-PVC (Poly Vinyl Chloride is the most toxic plastic on the planet). 
• This hose was built to last, thus greatly saving resources, and can be recycled at end of life (see below)
• We have yet to find a hose of such quality with a more eco-friendly design. 
• The manufacturer of this hose strives to manufacture premium quality equipment that reduces energy consumption through the virtue of its smooth inner bore and wider diameter which both help to reduce air flow restriction and cavitation. 
• Product is built in CA, USA
• Product does not require packaging and is recyclable at end of life if you contact the manufacturer.

Recycling:

• Please inquire with us about recycling your used hose that has reached the end of it's life. 
• It can be shredded and shipped back to amflex to be made into new products. 
• Please respect the environment, and do not throw your "dead" hoses away. Recycle them. 
• If the hoses are not heavily contaminated, amflex will often provide a monetary credit for the materials as well to help offset shipping costs associated with their return.
