How to Remove Beer Odor (Story):

Our family was sitting around at the dinner table when we heard a BANG! It sounded like something had exploded in our Laundry Room. In fact... it had! We stored our 22 ounce beer bottles on the lower shelf of a two tiered cabinet, and because these larger beer bottles are a-typical sizes, we had to squeeze them in to fit on the lower shelf. Well, apparently there must be some natural expansion that takes place in even glass beer bottles, as when returning from a kayaking trip we turned up the heat in the house just a little, and apparently the pressure change in the glass beer bottle was just enough to cause a massive explosion!

The bottom of the glass bottle literally blew off and pushed the bottle up in such a fashion that it caused the roughly 35 beer bottles stored above it to jump and rattle. Beer was EVERYWHERE, as was Beer Odor! However we did not know this yet. I immediately explored into the laundry room to see what had happened and nothing was apparent, until that is... beer started FLOWING out of the lower deck of the cabinet. It's amazing how much damage potential 22 ounces of dark beer has.

Enzymatic cleaner to the Rescue...

In a startled panic, I ran to get large cotton towels to soak up the Beer Spill mess.  It took 3 bath sized towels to soak it all up, and unfortunately, it took over 20 minutes to get at all the Beer, because we had to remove about 70 bottles from both shelves in order to access the area where the beer had flowed.  It had permeated cracks in the cupboards, the bases of the cabintes, in between where the tile meets the wood mob-board, and even under our hard wood floor, and the Beer Odor was already quite evident.  That's where the Enzymatic Cleaner came in!
